JESSOP B. ADAMS

As we honor Todd’s life and contributions, we also want to share that the succession plan he helped design is now in place—a plan fully supported by Todd, our family, and the bank’s leadership team. During a special session held on November 12th, the Board of Directors officially appointed Jessop B. Adams as Chief Executive Officer of Adams Bank & Trust. Jessop will join Amanda A. Hoover, the bank’s Chief Financial Officer and Todd’s daughter, to represent the fifth generation of family leadership.  Over the past decade, Jessop and Mandy have immersed themselves in every facet of banking, building strong relationships with our team and customers.

We are confident that with the combined dedication and leadership of Jessop and Mandy, Adams Bank & Trust will continue to thrive, honoring Todd’s legacy while embracing new opportunities for growth and innovation.  In addition, the Board has appointed me, Chad S. Adams, as Chairman of the Board.  Together, Jessop, Mandy, and I will work closely with our leadership team to ensure a seamless transition and continued commitment to the values that define our organization.

Todd’s role at Adams Bank & Trust was significant—he always set the bar high for the rest of us. While his passing marks the close of a monumental chapter, it is not the end of our story. Please take comfort in knowing that we remain dedicated to being a family-owned and operated community bank. We are honored to continue our family’s commitment to the future of this organization as we begin this next chapter with the fifth generation of leadership.
