Having 16 years of experience in banking and financial services, Sonya provides valuable insights to assist with the daily needs of her customers. With positions spanning lending, personal banking, and business banking combined with her agriculture background, Sonya has established herself as a knowledgeable resource for clients. She has an associate’s degree in Ag Business and Veterinary Technology from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

Sonya learned the meaning of hard work, dedication, perseverance, and the value of money at a young age while growing up on her family’s ranch. She incorporates each of them into her exceptional performance within the bank. Her favorite part of her job is supporting customers on their path to financial success. She relishes the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of her community. Sonya hopes she brings as much satisfaction to her customer’s lives as they bring to hers, and is thankful that she is able to give her customers the personal attention they deserve. Sonya enjoys donating her time to various organizations and projects in the Sutherland area. She is an active member of the Sutherland Chamber of Commerce where she currently serves as Treasurer.
