Jakob’s seven years of experience in the banking industry have laid a solid foundation for him to best help his clients succeed. Jakob began working with Adams Bank & Trust as a college intern and was hired as an Ag Banker upon graduation. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business and Applied Agriculture Economics from the University of Wyoming.

Jakob was born and raised in the Imperial community and banking industry. His family owned and operated a community bank in Imperial for over 100 years. He saw his family make the dreams of the community a reality by helping their customers do what they love and be financially prosperous. Jakob strives to continue that tradition in his current role of Vice President of Ag Banking, making him a perfect fit with Adams Bank & Trust and our focus on relationship banking.

Jakob takes great pride in giving back to the Imperial community. He is a member of the Volunteer Fire Department, the Chase County Fair Board, and the Country Club Board. He is also a mentor for Chase County Schools Teammates Program and is part of Jaycees - a group dedicated to raising funds to benefit area youth and youth activities.
