Adams Bank & Trust had a great time celebrating National FFA Week with our local chapters. We are proud to see all our area FFA members, their leaders, and families continue the tradition of agriculture in our communities.This year, AB&T delivered goodie bags, treats, and coupons for local coffee shops to our local FFA students.
Each of you plays a vital role in the future of ag and we are excited are excited to be here to support you, today and wherever life takes you in the future. Thank you for your dedication to agriculture education and the next generation of farmers.
WHAT IS FFA?
Future Farmers of America was founded by a group of young farmers in 1928 to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. Today, the National FFA Organization continues to educate students who want to be production farmers but has expanded to support education for all of the diverse career paths that touch the agriculture industry. FFA provides agricultural education and career exploration to students in grades five through college. Chapters cover topics in agriscience, biotechnology, horticulture, animal science, and more. FFA members earn more than $4 billion annually through hands-on work experience in areas such as agricultural communications, food science and technology, and wildlife production and management.Today, there are 945,988 FFA members in 9,163 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.You can learn more about FFA and how to support your local chapter at .SHARE:
