Travis Thornton is currently the Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking, bringing over 30 years of diverse experience in the commercial and financial services industry. His career journey has seen him excel in various roles, from Teller to Regional Retail Leader to Commercial Lender. Raised in the Arvada area and educated at North Arvada Jr High and Arvada High School, Travis has built long-standing relationships throughout the North Metro area, including Boulder and Longmont. He then furthered his education through the ABA Business of Banking Program.

Travis’s philosophy is all about creating value for his clients and team members. He thrives on seeing his prospects climb the ladder, and skillfully navigate significant deals. One of his greatest joys is witnessing his clients’ growth, transforming from small “mom and pop” shops to large businesses employing hundreds within the communities they serve.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Travis is a cornerstone of his local community. He’s actively involved in Boulder Chamber activities and serves on the board of directors for the Advent Health Avista Foundation.
