Our staff is experienced in law, accounting, real estate, agriculture, business administration, tax issues, investments, and insurance. We work together as a team to bring together the talent required to achieve the best solutions and results. Besides our well-qualified staff, audits are conducted by state and federal examiners on a regular basis and an independent audit is conducted annually by outside auditors. The kids earn money to spend or save for a car or college, and you gain a business tax deduction that will apply to your income and self-employment taxes. Operating as a sole proprietorship or husband-wife partnership, you can pay your child up to $5,700 of tax free income a year. If they are under the age of 18, the wages aren't subject to payroll taxes like Social Security and Medicare. If your business is run as a corporation, you can still hire your children and deduct the wages, but the payments would be subject to the payroll taxes. As a business owner, it's important that the wages you pay your children are reasonable and appropriate to the job they're doing. It's also crucial to keep good records so that you can substantiate the deduction. Have the kids fill out a time card when they work, and pay their wages by check.
Your kids can even use their earned income...[more]
